Could you elaborate on which file types are failing?

I made some minor adjustments to the sound system for 1.6, I'll look into it and see if I made any errors. Have you tried turning the options off and on again?

Is there a way to get the program to report/debug output the file path for the current image? Otherwise I can't easily tell.

I've had the same issue, and I have tried turning the options off and on again, as well as combining on/off with hardware acceleration on/off in case that was relevant, and both ticker sound types.

Yes, I have, without success. The program doesn't show up in windows' volume mixer either. Version 1.5 gives me no such issues.

No there's not I only thought you suggested you already had found which file types were failling.
Both for this and the ticker issue, I'll look into it.

It's working! I just have to toggle the sound off and on a bit.

Thanks you, great internet person!

The default ticker does work. But the Metronome option doesn't, its tick sound will play only once at the beginning of every card.

Btw, if you're getting empty instruction cards, then have a look at your outdated CTIS Core folder and delete the "source" folders.

I'll look into it when I find some time!

My computer dislikes the .exe
Not sure if it's being overly paranoid, or if you should run a scan.

The menu cuts off the bottom of instructions. Punishments had broken icons. Demo button for the ticker sounds would be nice.

This is because the exe isn't provided with a certification (which cost money). I can guarantee you it's completely safe though, for what that's worth.

1.6 has a lot of issues, I'm working valiantly on 1.7, but progress is slow. Luckily I'll be done with my university-year in a couple of weeks, after which I can wholeheartedly program forwards!
